Around a 60 mile trip from Cambridge to London.
We only cycled there but that was plenty far enough. It took around nine hours cycling starting at the rather early 6.30 am. We took the train back.
6 27: Joe's on his way to Blantyre.
We left Blantyre at about 6.45 heading out of Cambridge via Trumptington over the M11. We cycled along the A10 and then branched left onto the B1368.
8 30: And we're away. We stopped for a quick breakfast in Fowlmere and are now 5 miles further on in Barley. Looks good.
We stopped every few villages. And eventually reached Standon.
10 05: Somewhere beyond Standon. We just took a slightly wrong turn but have corrected ourselves. On a very quiet lane.
We got a little lost again but found our way onto our off road section which terminated in St Margarets.
11 34: We're at St Margarets. Just waiting at the level crossing. Thinking about lunch. We reckon we've done 40 plus!
Next was quite a bit of cycling on busy roads. We cycled on sticking to our directions.
13 00: Lunch. At McDonalds. We're just over the border into Essex. Very near the M25.
