Just some team chat about stash and style, from ECPC2ndVI's stash & style sec, pre first lent match.
There's been some ideas rolling on the metaphorical pool table about ties, waistcoats, shirts, t-shirts for this year's ECPC2ndVI spring collection. Thoughts appreciated. Ben at the moment favours t-shirts - well-fitted, in purple and pink, con emma and ECPC2ndVI badges. Andy would like ties, in silk with printed emblems (although silk and print would be entirely contradictory, so Andy, I think that needs re-consideration). I think deep down we all want waistcoats, despite how ridiculous we'd look. Perhaps they are abit too extravagant for a 2nd team, and they would require a rather heavy financial commitment, which I'm not sure we're ready for. To be decided tommorrow. Plan is to get something for the end of term.
"Collars - beware - there's a fine line between cad and camp" --Alex White As regards style, I think style is very important. Its imperative that we dress well and uphold the honour of ECPC2ndVI. Most importantly I would say, we don't want to look like we've dressed up for the match, nor do we want to give the impression of having dressed down. Please think about this very carefully. I can only give limited advice - either you know how to dress well or you don't. Collars - beware - there's a fine line between cad and camp - and too many times I've seen that fine line crossed. Andy, I'm afraid you require special mention here. Huddies, if you choose to wear one, think about colour. Everybody has at least two huddies, so don't make the wrong colour choice. Shirts, I think are a safe option. Jeans, also, if they're not too light or tight. And remember don't be afraid to experiment.
If anyone has any questions or specific style problems, I'm here for you.
Until we meet again
Alex
